Wildlife compliance: animal custody & state report
Track every animal caught until it's released or handled, and export your yearly state report.
Many states require wildlife companies to keep a record of every animal they catch and what happened to it. The Compliance page (under Wildlife Control) handles this.
- Animal custody — animals still "on the truck" (to be released later, or waiting on testing). Record the final outcome here and it's saved back to the visit.
- Release sites — the places you release animals, with county and landowner permission.
- State report — download a spreadsheet with one row per animal: where it was caught, how, what happened, and who handled it. Anything unfinished is flagged.
Techs record each animal when finishing a visit — species, how many, how it was caught, and what happened. They can also finish "on the truck" animals from My Truck in the field app.
