Mold remediation projects & certificates
Run mold and crawl-space jobs from quote to clearance certificate and warranty.
Mold & Crawl Space jobs work like exclusion projects: quote → accepted → deposit → scheduled → done → warranty.
- Remediation Overview — your numbers and anything that needs attention.
- Remediation Projects — open jobs and where each one stands.
- Warranties & Certificates — finished jobs, their warranty, and a printable Certificate of Mold Remediation once the job passes clearance testing.
In the field, techs log moisture readings, containment and safety checks, samples sent to the lab, and crawl space install details.
Water damage and drying
- Open a project and fill in Water damage & drying: what caused it, the date, the water type (clean, gray or black water), how much is wet, and the size of the wet area.
- The project card then shows about how many air movers, how big a dehumidifier and how many air scrubbers the job needs. It's a starting point. Your tech adjusts on site.
- On each drying visit, the tech adds air readings (outside, a dry room, the wet area and the dehumidifier outlet). The app works out the moisture in the air and the dew point for them, and says if the dehumidifier isn't pulling enough water out.
- If a wet spot barely changes from one visit to the next, the office gets a Drying has stalled alert so someone can check the equipment or look for hidden water.
- Press Drying report on the project to print every visit's readings side by side, the equipment that was on site, and the water damage details. Send it to the insurance company or the customer.
Crawl space inspections and yearly service
- On an inspection visit, the Crawl Space Inspection Form records the size, height, standing water, vapor barrier, insulation, wood moisture, mold and pest signs. The tech taps the work they recommend.
- That recommended work shows up under Inspection Findings on the Remediation page, so you can start the quote with one tap.
- On yearly service or warranty visits, the Crawl Space Maintenance Check covers the dehumidifier, filter, drain line, sump pump, battery backup, liner and humidity. If something needs fixing, the office is told right away.
Jobs that take more than one visit
- Once a project is accepted, press Add phase visit to book the extra visits — containment setup, daily drying checks, air sampling, or the final clearance test. Each one shows up on the Schedule and Routes like any other stop.
- Finishing a phase visit never closes the project. Finishing the main work visit does, and starts the warranty.
- When a clearance test is recorded in the field, the project shows Clearance passed (or failed) right on its card.
- If the job is on an insurance claim, the remaining balance isn't billed to the homeowner — bill it from Insurance Claims instead.
Tip: In states that require an independent assessor, turn on Independent Assessor Rules so projects can't be scheduled until the assessor's plan is on file.
