Putting stops on a route (and auto-dispatch)
Drag stops onto routes yourself, or let the app do it for you.
By hand
- 1On Routes & Dispatch, open the Unassigned section.
- 2Drag a stop onto a route — or use the Assign dropdown next to it.
- 3To move a stop to a different route, open the stop's menu and choose Move route.
Let the app do it
- Dispatch button — assigns every unassigned stop to the best route right now. The little number shows how many are waiting.
- Auto switch — keeps doing it on its own as new stops come in.
The app picks the best route by looking at what's close by, keeping routes evenly loaded, fitting things inside the work day, and putting appointments first. Stops at the same address always go together.
Tip: A stop that's on hold or has its crew locked is never moved by auto-dispatch.
Buttons that open the app ask you to sign in first. New to RouteStacker? Start free.
