Your business phone: calls, texts and voicemail
Call and text customers from your business number — from this computer or by ringing your cell first.
Get set up
- 1Go to Settings → Phone and pick a business number (or move your existing number over).
- 2Finish Texting registration so your texts get delivered.
- 3Under When someone calls, choose the AI receptionist, or ring your team and then go to voicemail.
- 4Under My phone, switch on Ring calls on this computer and allow the microphone when your browser asks.
Making a call
- Press the phone button next to any customer, lead or conversation.
- This computer — talk through your headset or laptop.
- Call my phone first — we ring your cell, you answer and press 1, then we connect the customer. They see your business number, never your cell. Great where data is weak.
- During a call press Add to bring a third person in, like a crew member or the homeowner's spouse.
Every call shows under Recent calls and in the customer's conversation, with the recording when recording is on.
