Controlling what techs can charge
Decide if techs can change prices, how big a discount they can give, and if they can add custom items.
Go to Settings → Payments → Field Sales. These rules apply to every invoice and quote made in the field app.
- Techs can change prices — turn off to make techs always charge your standard prices.
- Largest discount allowed — for example, up to 10% off. Techs can always charge more than the list price.
- Techs can add custom items — lets techs add things that aren't on your price list, and price services that don't have a set rate.
Prices come from your price list (Settings → Services), your packages, and your pricing on Settings → Pricing. The limits are checked again when the tech saves, so they can't be worked around.
