Automations: "when this happens, do that"
Build simple rules that do busywork for you.
An automation is a simple rule, like "When a visit is completed, send the customer a thank-you text."
- 1Go to Settings → Automations and press New rule.
- 2Pick what starts it (for example, a visit is completed or a lead comes in).
- 3Pick what happens: send a text, send an email, or send the info to another app.
- 4Write the message. Use {{first_name}} to add the customer's name.
- 5Save. Use the switch to turn a rule on or off any time.
