Proposals: sending good / better / best quotes
Send a nice-looking quote with options. Customers accept it online with one click.
A proposal is a quote with your logo on it. You can offer up to three choices (for example Basic, Standard, Premium) so the customer picks the one that fits.
Sending a proposal
- 1Go to Proposals and press New proposal (or use + New → Proposal).
- 2Pick the customer or lead and the business line.
- 3Set your starting price — the options are built from it. Adjust names, prices, and what's included.
- 4Optionally ask for a deposit.
- 5Press Send. The customer gets a text and email with a link.
When the customer accepts, they're turned into a customer automatically: their services are created, any deposit is collected, and the lead moves to Won. You'll get a notification.
How a deposit is handled
- The deposit shows in Billing as a paid bill, and the customer gets a receipt.
- It's taken off their first bill. If they have a one-time charge, it comes off that first. Anything left is saved as account credit and used on their next monthly bill.
- If the customer pays and closes the page before it finishes loading, they're still signed up once the payment goes through.
- If someone pays the deposit twice (for example, in two browser tabs), you'll get an alert so you can refund the extra one in Stripe.
